Course Description:
This course will explore how ocular biomechanics can be used in the clinic to detect and to follow glaucoma and keratoconus.
Learning objectives
- To define ocular biomechanics
- To identify the ocular biomechanical parameters pertinent to glaucoma pathophysiology
- To understand how clinicians can use ocular biomechanics to stratify glaucoma risk
- To identify the ocular biomechanical parameters pertinent to keratoconus pathophysiology
- To understand how clinicians can use ocular biomechanics to stratify keratoconus risk
