Course Description:

This course will explore how ocular biomechanics can be used in the clinic to detect and to follow glaucoma and keratoconus.

Learning objectives

  1. To define ocular biomechanics
  2. To identify the ocular biomechanical parameters pertinent to glaucoma pathophysiology
  3. To understand how clinicians can use ocular biomechanics to stratify glaucoma risk
  4. To identify the ocular biomechanical parameters pertinent to keratoconus pathophysiology
  5. To understand how clinicians can use ocular biomechanics to stratify keratoconus risk
